For those looking to improve their texture From Acne scarring to lines and wrinkles, Microneedling has gained significant traction in recent years as a non-surgical solution to your skin woes!
What is Microneedling?
It is a revolutionary procedure that utilises tiny little pins which make Micro-wounds in the skin. Think of a cut; skin then starts to heal and repair itself by repairing the old collagen (the volume) to produce brand-spanking-new collagen, stronger fibres and proteins = plumper and tighter skin!
Where do we sign?!
There are so many options - what should I be looking for?
The Aesthetics market has quadrupled in size and demand, and with 1000’s of devices claiming to help with your skin stressors, it’s a minefield!
The key with microneedling is Medical Affiliation and testing; the machine must be safe and effective to use. All our machines here at Sarah Dale Aesthetics have been proven in Clinical testing (With Clinical papers verifying their performance) and our Pyramid Treatment is at the forefront of Skin Resurfacing.

Who should I trust? Choosing your practitioner
As a Clinic, we love it when we are asked what qualifications we have because it means you have done your research! Always ask the practitioner about their experience, they should never mind and will be prepared to tell you.
We believe that all our Aestheticians must be trained to the highest possible standard so are happy to invest in the best training with the correct licensing. Ask them what evidence there is for the treatment; Medical machines have reports to support and corroborate!
What makes Medical Microneedling different to a beauty alternative?
The small Micro-channels/wounds we spoke about earlier will stay open for an hour which is plenty of time for any topicals such as Hyaluronic Acid (the naturally hydrating factor in the skin which holds 1000x its weight in water... we love it!) to get into the deeper layers of the skin. In contrast, home derma rollers or handheld devices will only encourage the wounds to be open for 45 seconds - this just isn’t long enough for volumizing or healing!
How important is to you use the right products for a Clinical treatment?
We often hear people ask us this.
With the Skin Industry trying to sell us a 10-step routine we are not surprised!
We believe that the correct skincare will accelerate wound-healing and results but only if the products are Clinically proven like Medik8.
Medik8 is what we call “Cosmeceutical” which is a step up from your standard high street products as it travels down to the hub of the skin - the Dermis. It’s certified to use active ingredients to improve skin tone and texture without the hefty price tag. Formulated by Chemists this range is a game changing, you’ll love it- don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Our award-winning products? Retinol and Vitamin C - a combination for any skin care lover!
