HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our FRAX Laser treatment for Lip enhancement works by creating very small islands of heat damage in the treatment area. These small islands of damage are surrounded by normal undamaged tissue. When the body responds by sending healing to the area, it not only repairs the damaged tissue but also repairs the surrounding tissue. It creates collagen synthesis under the lips, meaning brand new collagen starts to form under the skin as a reaction to damage repair. 

The reaction results in the appearance of the lips being fuller, brighter and smoother with less long-term dryness. In can also help to enhance and restore colour to the lips that fades over time as we age. 

Down time after treatment is minimal, immediately after treatment lips will be swollen (some clients love this immediate effect) with possibly some redness. Swelling is likely to increase over the next 24 hours, and lips will start to feel rough to the touch and quite tight. This roughness will usually last for up to 5 days, an aftercare product such as Medik8 Mutiny Squalane Lip Balm is recommended post treatment for healing and comfort. 

For maximum benefits from this treatment a plan of 3 to 5 treatments 1 month apart is recommended. Then ongoing maintenance of 2/3 treatments per year will keep your lips looking their best. 

The cost for each FRAX Lip treatment is £55 with maintenance treatments also costing £55 per treatment.
